We replaced our 10-year-old Leisure luggage set that had traveled the globe a few times and had seen better days with this Totes set.

We wanted to be sure to get at least three uprights, and the value is unbeatable for about $100! (Gotta love Amazon!) Some of the smaller uprights are pretty small, but they'd be good for a couple pairs of shoes or for a child. And it's a pretty good quality based on the couple uses, both airline and car travel.

Overall, very happy with our purchase!

I bought this set and I'm fairly unimpressed. I travel about every other week, so I've gotten some use out of these already. I'm not sure what I was expecting exactly, but here goes:

The 2 largest bags seem to be the best constructed. They are expandable and useable. I figure if you're checking luggage, make sure it's cheap becaues it'll get destroyed, so they are passable.

The smaller 2 are complete garbage. The smallest one totally useless because of it's size. You might as well just bring a grocery bag and stuff eveyrthing in there. It would work for a small child but you have to extend the handle all the way out making that impractical without some welding. The second smallest carry on is a 21 inch, but it seems small and it's difficult to fit a week's worth of clothes in here. The zippers on ALL these bags are horrendous and get stuck often and don't seem to work well. I used the 2nd smallest 1 time before the zipper on one of hte pockets separated. To make matters worse, the handle doesn't lock on either of the smallest two. I know this seems like a small problem, but when navigating an airport, it is actually REALLY annoying because you can't keep it extended it's full length. Almost any effort applied to it will start retracting. Awful.

So if you need 2 large suitcases, maybe this isn't a bad set.

If you're a frequent traveler and expect to use either of the smaller 2 bags, just buy something good.

The bags look like they are made from good material but they are pretty small compare to the picture on amazon. The small upright bag looks like you can probably fit 3 pairs of shoes. But other than that they seem nice. I hope they are strong enough for a 2 week travel in south america.
